2019 has been another year of exciting projects and developments across all of the Axis studios in Glasgow, Bristol, and London. Everyone at Axis has contributed to another diverse slate of entertainment, which continues to make audiences, guests, fans, and players around the world laugh, cry, excited, and sometimes just a little scared.

We kicked the early part of the year off with VFX work on Luther season 5 on the BBC and the launch of the Summoners War Friends & Rivals short film, followed by our contribution to the Emmy winning series Love, Death & Robots and the YouTube trending trailer for Magic: the Gathering - War of the Spark.

Spring-time saw season 2 of the RTS craft award nominated Happy! land on SyFy, followed by VFX work on Chernobyl. In the summer we saw the launch of Lego City Adventures on Nickelodeon and a flurry of trailers at E3 with Outriders, Gears 5, and Deathloop all making a big impact.

The second half of the year has seen the BIFA award winning Shaun the Sheep 2 hit the cinemas, more trailers for Magic: the Gathering, with both Throne of Eldraine and Theros Beyond Death clocking up 18m plays on YouTube. Catherine the Great showing on TV on both sides of the Atlantic and the Annie nominated realtime cutscenes for Gears 5 launching on Xbox.

As we reach the end of 2019, we are proud to be able to celebrate our 20-year milestone as a company. There is no doubt we love what we do and we believe it shows in every project we create. A big thanks goes to everyone who has been part of the journey with us.

Here's to a great new year and 2020.
