Though Steven Spielberg’s nostalgia-infused Ready Player One and Channel 4’s virtual-reality drama Kiss Me First are examples of the way mainstream cinema and television have been tapping into video- game culture in 2018, it’s not just the stories on screen that are learning from the realm of joysticks and pixels.

We have seen in the past with games like The Last of Us and Uncharted where the narrative really drives the story and it feels almost like a play though of a Movie rather than a game. This time, the tables have turned and it’s now Television shows that have chosen to snug up a little bit closer to computer games.

How long will it be until we have a Movie or TV show that will be viewed exclusively through a VR headset?
