The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day production across departments and at a high level across the project. The PS will work in collaboration with the department heads, Production Manager and Producer to ensure the success of the departments and film.
The PS is a leadership role in the project and, as such, must accept the responsibility of supporting and representing the directives of the studio and the production leadership.
Supervising the effective delivery of the project to a high standard Drive monitoring and maintenance of quota targets
Drive the monitoring and maintenance of scope – communicating regular updates and / or concerns with the Production Manager
Drive miscellaneous project tasks e.g. pipeline updates, marketing materials, behind the scenes, etc.
Report current / potential project issues to Line Producer and help to drive through solutions
Plan and drive through ad hoc changes to the creative, based on input and strategy from the Producer and Production Manager. This would mean investigating and reporting of costs, schedule, impact, etc. on requests coming through from the clients.
Participating on key project leadership meetings with the studio
