Axis Studios is recruiting an enthusiastic FACILITIES COORDINATOR to join our Bristol Studio. This position combines technical, administrative, and creative support duties.

Axis Studios is an award-winning studio with premises in Glasgow, Bristol and London, creating high-end visual content for film, television, games and theme parks. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for keeping the studio humming along like a well-oiled machine, aiding in the smooth operation of desktop IT kit, and providing general operational and creative support to the studio and production teams.

In this role, they will need to collaborate with key Management, Production, IT, R&D and other stakeholders across the Axis Group (currently Glasgow, Bristol, London).

As an Facilities Coordinator at Axis, you will be responsible for providing direct support to our systems and production teams for all areas of operations. Along with the responsibility of maintaining and tracking operations within the studio therefore providing a daily support to current productions.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and track resources for the studio based on production requirements e.g seats, workstation assignments, licenses, render nodes etc. 

  • Process new starters in the studio ensuring IT have set up all relevant credentials, licenses & Software.

  • Support and coordinate with IT & R&D to ensure necessary tech requirements for productions are handled in priority order.

  • Maintain 10,000ft resource software and provide accurate reports to help plan studio needs

  • Issue PO’s for approved items and infrastructure

  • Coordinate courier booking services to and from the office, as well as post

  • Liaison and follow-up with appropriate contacts on the resolution of problems (e.g. cleaners, vending, etc), escalating unresolved problems where necessary

  • Assistance with fire and health and safety procedures

  • Arranging couriers and keeping an up-to-date equipment/drives database

  • Working with the management and operations department to plan the studio requirements.

  • Booking and greeting clients in studio
