A dual-citizen of the UK and New Zealand, David has dedicated his time to building teams, pipelines and studios around the world.
Early in his career, David founded and grew his own company to 55 staff. After selling his business and transitioning into visual media, he took on several creative leadership roles, including Head of Production, Executive Producer and Head of IP Development. David is perhaps best known for developing and producing the $25M CG feature Mosley – the first ever co-production between New Zealand and China. Prior to joining Axis Studios, David worked at Brown Bag Films, overseeing animation projects for Nickelodeon.
David is passionate about mentoring young creative talent. He is proudest when aspiring artists and producers achieve success, both personally and professionally. He also has a genuine love for nurturing great stories and bringing partners together to make them a success on-screen.
