Bringing a fresh new twist to the zombie genre, Axis’ VFX division partnered with Channel 4 and The Forge for the upcoming six-part dramatic dark comedy series, Generation Z. Set in the fictional town of Dambury, where a biological weapon spill sets off an apocalypse that causes the older generation to develop a desire and urge for human flesh.
Axis’ VFX team collaborated with writer and director Ben Wheatley throughout the process, providing creative problem-solving and developing a range of complex effects work. A huge focus was to support Ben’s vision and bring it to full fruition, which was achieved by having clear and consistent communication as trusted creative partners throughout the entire process.
The series is due for release in 2024.
