Directed by Carlos Stevens, this is the latest trailer for Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorn – a visual expression of the Elder Ice Dragon, Jormag’s influence over the races of Tyria. Produced for ArenaNet, the team at Axis Studios used animated brush strokes to create a dream-like sequence in the form of a visual poem.
With a combination of 2D painterly effects and 3D animation, the team achieved a unique style which we’re sure will get both old and new fans excited for season five of the game.
