BBC’s Luther – the Golden Globe-winning crime thriller – hit people’s living rooms once more with another gripping series.

Over four consecutive nights at the start of the new year, DCI John Luther (Idris Elba) and Alice (Ruth Wilson), walked the dark streets of London once more on BBC One. Directed by Jamie Payne and produced by Derek Ritchie, Axis Studios provided on-set supervision and a full range of 2D comp work – this included screen replacement, shotgun blasts, smashed windows, rotting bodies, and car crashes. CG Supervisor Ross Gilbert took charge of the 3D, creating a 3D printed mask used by the serial killer in episode four.
